How to be saved

Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation , I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3)

The central purpose of this website is to guide people to a correct understanding on what the Bible says about salvation.

There is a great heresy around today which is a plan of salvation not found in the New Testament - the 'sinners prayer'. This false doctrine says that a person can be saved by saying a repentant prayer claiming salvation and inviting Jesus into their life, this is not true.

We are required not only to believe in God but also to believe God. Jesus is the way the truth and the life and salvation is found only in Him. The bible says that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Therefore, the question is how do we enter into Christ, not the other way round - that is to put self at the centre. How can Jesus know us, if at first we have not entered by the narrow gate?, that is to be baptized into Christ. This 'sinners prayer' appears to have falsely replaced baptism as the way into Christ.

Every single detailed act of salvation found in the book of Acts involves baptism - we are baptized in water into Christ, why is this simple command from God being ignored? A sign perhaps of the end times when false prophets shall arise.

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies (2Pet 2:1)

For further study please see the baptism page and why baptism is necessary for salvation.

Does God exist?

The fact that God exists is self-evident; stop, step back and look at the big picture, the universe gives glory to God's handiwork. We will not have an excuse for our unbelief when we face God after we have passed on from this world, God has made it obvious to all of us that He is the Creator God from what has been made. He cares for us and does not wan't anyone to die in their sin, those that do die in their sin face eternal separation from God, an eternity of weeping and regret. We have one chance, one life, take hold of the free gift of salvation that can only come from Jesus. Jesus is God's Son sent to earth to rescue us from the penalty of our sin.
