God is at work in baptism

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit (Mat 28:19)

Is baptism a work, something that man can boast about? Who is at work in baptism?

(Col 2:12) having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

It is God who is at work in baptism!

God says that in baptism all our sins are washed away;

(Acts 2:38) Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins

(Acts 22:16) And now why do you delay? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name

Man cant wash away sins can he? We see that it is God who is at work in baptism, forgiving us of our sins and washing them away.

Baptism is fundamental, it is how we become a member of the body of Christ

(Galatians 3:27) "For as many of you as were baptized into Christ did put on Christ."

If you believe in Christ and you havn't been baptized then you should delay no longer;

"And now why do you delay? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on his name." (Acts 22:16)
