Adam+Eve, The Serpent and the Tree of knowledge
(Genesis 2) God planted a garden in Eden and there He caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Then the Lord God took the man(Adam) and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it. And God commanded Adam saying "From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day you eat from it you shall surely die."

Who Satan was
(Ezekiel 28:12-17)
You had the seal of perfection,
Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
You were in Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The ruby, the topaz and the diamond;
The beryl, the onyx and the jasper;
The lapis lazuli, the turquoise and the emerald;
And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets,
Was in you.
On the day that you were created
They were prepared.
You were the anointed cherub who covers,
And I placed you there
You were on the holy mountain of God;
You walked in the midst of the stones of fire.
You were blameless in your ways
From the day you were created
Until unrighteousness was found in you.
By the abundance of your trade
You were internally filled with violence,
And you sinned;
Therefore I have cast you as profane
From the mountain of God.
And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub,
From the midst of the stones of fire.
Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty;
You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor
(Isaiah 14:12)
How you have fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, star of the morning, son of the dawn!
You have been cut down to the earth,
You who have weakened the nations!
But you said in your heart,
I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne above the stars of God,
And I will sit on the mount of assembly
In the recesses of the north.
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.
Satan fell from heaven because he became very proud in his heart and wants to be like God.
Who Satan is
Satan is alive and well and at this present time 'this world' is under his power (1John 5:19). Satan is the ruler of this fallen world and he doesnt want anyone to come to a knowledge of the truth. The truth is that Jesus came to set you free from slavery to sin and give you eternal life.
The god of this world has deceived billions with his lies and tricks, he doesn't want anyone to come to know the saviour.
(2 Cor 4:4)
the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel
of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
he is the father of lies
(John 8:44)
"You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He
was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.
Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature; for he is a liar, and the father of lies."
The accuser
(Rev 12:10)
"for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before God day and night"
The deceiver, satan doesn't want anyone to come to the knowledge of the truth. He hides the truth with false religions and false doctrines. He mixes the truth with error. Truth mixed with error is still error. Jesus said that God seeks worshippers who worship in spirit and truth. The truth is in Gods word the bible.
Be careful to check everything against God's Word the truth. Lots of things in this world may seem 'good', but are they? Do not be deceived
For even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2Cor 11:14)

"For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh.
This is the deceiver and the antichrist"
We are fighting a war, not a war with guns and tanks, but a spiritual war and the stakes are eternal. We are fighting for people's souls.
(Eph 6:12)
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world
forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places

you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the
spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.

I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and He has nothing in Me
