Infant Baptism

Sprinkling as a mode of baptism was begun by the Roman Catholic church and was originated by them as a law of the roman catholic church. Hence the sprinkling of infants is entirely unscriptural...

The gospel must be preached too the candidate for baptism: And he said to them "Go into all the world and preach the gospel too all creation." "He who has believed has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned." (Mark 16:15-16) We cannot preach too infants.

The gospel must be heard before obedience: "Therefore every one who hears these words of mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon rock." (Matthew 7:24) Infants cannot hear the gospel

The subject must believe before baptism: And he said to them "Go into all the world and preach the gospel too all creation." "He who has believed has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned." (Mark 16:15-16) Infants cannot exercise faith

The subject must be convicted of sin before baptism: "Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified." Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brethren what shall we do?" And Peter said to them; "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:36-38) Infants can have no conviction of sin

The subject must repent of his sins: And Peter said to them; "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the holy spirit" (Acts 2:38) The infant cannot repent

The subject must make a wholehearted confession of his faith in Christ: And as they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunoch said; "Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?" And Philip said; "If you believe with your whole heart you may" And he said "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God" (Acts 8:36-37) This is not possible for an infant
