Who is to be baptized?
That person who has faith in Jesus as the Christ the Son of God"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved." (Mark 16:16)
That person who has come to a conviction of his sin and its penalty and who has wholeheartedly repented of this breaking of God's law.
"Now when they heard this they were pierced in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do? And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:37-38)
That person who has confessed with his mouth before men his faith in Jesus as the Christ the Son of God."And as they went on the way, they came unto a certain water, and the eunoch said, Behold, here is water; what hinders me from being baptized? And Philip said, If you believe with all your heart, you may. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." (Acts 8:36-37)
